Gia Davis Signs With Haskell

Sophomore Gia Davis has signed to play for Haskell Indian Nations University next season. Davis was a key performer for the 2015-2016 Thunderbird team that won Region and District Championships and went on to the NJCAA DII National Tournament.
Davis averaged 9 points and 7 rebounds per game. She was the only sophomore on the team and provided a steady effort and leadership for the young but talented team.
She'll join a Haskell squad that made the NAIA DII National Tournament and brings back plenty of talent to make another run in '16-'17. Last season, they finished with an overall record of 23-7.
