United Tribes raced out to an early 43-14 lead against the Jacks of Dakota College Bottineau and never looked back winning 86-67. The Thunderbirds were led by the Mon-Dak Conferences leading scorer Cecelio Montgomery. He knocked down 5 three pointers on his way to 23 points and also hauled in 6 rebounds. Nick Jiles continued his all around steady play at the point guard position with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and a game high 5 assists. Tate Bear also reached double figures with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Tyree Florence-Patton led the team in rebounds with 8.
