Tribes beats BSC 105-79 in first round of Mon Dak Conference Tournament

United Tribes made 18 threes and used a 16-2 run in the second half to cruise to a 105-79 victory in the first round of the Mon Dak Athletic Conference Tournament. Montel Carlow knocked down eight three pointers and led all scorers with 30 points. Rob McClain Jr. had 15 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assists, and 4 blocks on a night where he battled foul trouble. Joe Sazue III provided a spark off the bench connecting on 5 three pointers for 15 points. Chayton York also reached double figures with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
The Thunderbirds advance to the semifinals and face North Dakota College of Science at 2pm today.
